Can I stop iTunes Consolidator from reading the IDv3 tags?

Yes. You can do this by holding down the option key when starting a scan.

I don't have my iTunes music in the default location. Will iTunes Consolidator work for me?

Yes. iTunes Consolidator is able to determine where your music is stored.

What are the limitations of the trial version?

The trial version of iTunes Consolidator will allow you to scan for your missing songs and to preview them using the integrated audio player, but you will not be able to add songs automatically back into iTunes, or to move them to the trash. Purchasing will remove these restrictions.

What type of audio files does iTunes Consolidator support?

Currently iTunes Consolidator supports mp3, aac, wav and aif audio files.

When is click Add To iTunes my songs are not added to iTunes?

Your music folder is stored on either a network volume or an external drive. Download the latest version of iTunes Consolidator to fix this issue.
